Leatha Joy (Lea) Aton was born January 23, 1939, on a farm near Geary, OK to John and Tennie Henderson. She never forgot her roots and loved to talk about her life on the farm. She graduated from Geary High School and went to work for Allstate Insurance Company. She retired after 35 years as a claim analyst. Lea was proceeded in death by her parents; brother, Johnnie and sister, Betty Forney. She is survived by her beloved son, Craig; a special niece, Katherine Swinford (Clint); sister-in-law, Theresa Henderson, and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. The family wishes to thank Dr. Sunjay Hapani, his staff and Choice Hospice for their care during Lea's journey. She had such wonderful caregivers and medical staff. She was blessed. Viewing will be at Mercer Adams on Sunday, November 30, from 11am-9pm. Services will be at Lutheran Church of Our Savior on Monday, December 1 at 10am.
