LaVerne Lee Freida Ratliff, 86, passed away on Dec. 31, 2010, at her daughters home in Tuttle, OK. She previously resided at Hefner Mansions in OKC. She was born March 15, 1924, at Swan Lake (Eakly) OK, to the late Marion Brantley Teague and Jenny Rose Teague. She was preceded in death by her husband of 66 years, Darrell Ratliff, granddaughter Tracey Sitton, three sisters and two brothers. She is survived by daughters Linda Johnson and husband Lonnie of El Reno, OK, Barbara Adams and husband Don of Tuttle, OK, and Eyvonne Sitton and husband David of Tuttle, OK; four grandchildren, and nine great-grandchildren. She was a devout Christian and was a member of the Highpointe (Lakeside) Assembly of God Church. The family wishes to express our gratitude and thankfulness to Beverly, Wanda, and Susan of Lifecare Hospice of Norman. Their caring and concern will always be remembered. Our mom will be greatly missed, but we will always carry her memory and love in our hearts. Funeral services will be held at 2:00pm, Wed., Jan. 5, 2011, at Mercer-Adams Chapel in Bethany, OK with interment following in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens in OKC.
