LaRue Morris Sieber departed to be by her Saviors side on Tuesday, June 15, 2021. LaRue was born to Anna and Hughie Morris on November 28, 1925, in Indianapolis. She grew up in the Olympia, Washington area and married Loyd Franson on May 15, 1950. She and Loyd had 3 sons before his untimely death in 1962.
She was, her entire life, a dedicated and faithful member of the General Assembly and Church of the First Born.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husbands, 2 of her sons, Zane and Donald, and one great-grandson, Joey. She is survived by her son, Paul; 6 grandchildren: Jack, Amanda, Elizabeth, Joseph, Thomas, and Clayton; and 13 great-grandchildren.
She is also survived by the multitude of family, friends, and strangers who she touched with her wit, her grace, and her love of the Lord. After the death of her husband Loyd, she raised her young sons by herself. She put all 3 sons through college and gave them the skills they needed to succeed in the world. She also gave them a foundation and understanding of the faith they grew up in so that they could contribute to the goodness in the world, just as she modeled in her daily life. She loved and was loved by everyone she knew because she deeply cared about the people around her.
Viewing will be Sunday, 11am-8pm, with family present from 6-8pm at Mercer-Adams. Graveside services for LaRue will be held Monday, June 28, 2021, at 11:00 A.M. at Parkland Cemetery, Agra, OK.
