Loving husband and father, Larry Dean Smith, 57, went home to his heavenly father on Monday, February 17, 2014. He was born March 13, 1956 in Kansas City, MO to Gerald and Josie (Sheets) Smith. He worked in the food industry for many years and was a supervisor for Williams Food. Larry was an active member of Council Road Baptist Church. He had a heart for missions in the community and abroad and led numerous trips to Haiti with Mission of Hope. Larry enjoyed fishing, golf, and OU Football. Preceded in death by his father, he is survived by his mother, Josie; wife, Kathy Smith; children, Christopher Smith and wife Jennifer; Kellie Halbert and husband Jarod, Jason Shilling and wife Mary, Christopher Shilling and wife Stephanie, and Anna Shilling; brother, Jerry Smith and wife Cindy; niece and nephew, Aftyn and Walker Smith; and other beloved family and friends. Viewing will be Thursday, 9am-9pm at Mercer-Adams. Services will be Friday, February 21, 10:00am at Council Road Baptist Church with interment in Frisco Cemetery, Yukon, OK.
