Larry Joe Barton, age 71, died Saturday, October 26, 2013. He was born August 25, 1942 to Chester and Juanita Barton of Bethany, Oklahoma. Joe spent his early years in Bethany, and his life in the Oklahoma City area. He worked primarily in construction, but enjoyed entrepreneurial ventures, including founding PCS Computers. Everyone remembers his sense of humor, his big heart full of love, and willingness to help anyone who needed it. He was preceded in death by his parents, one sister, and Pam, the love of his life. He is survived by one son, two grandchildren, two brothers, two sisters, one step-brother, and all of their families who he always remembered. In lieu of flowers or a charitable contribution, honor Joe by doing something for a senior citizen in your life. He would be proud of you. Services will be Friday, Nov. 1, 2:00pm at Mercer-Adams Chapel with interment in Resurrection Cemetery.
