Obituary

Lana Kay Bradley, wife, mother, and Grandma, woke up in the presence of her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on August 10, 2026, after passing away in Oklahoma City, OK at the age of 79. She was born on November 23, 1946, in Clarksville, TX to Otis and Madeline Mowery.

Lana met the love of her life, Larry, when she was in high school while he was on a date with Lana's best friend. She graduated from Putnam City High School in 1965. Lana had left home at age 16 and lived with the Alexander family for two years while she finished high school where she was loved like their own daughter. Lana and Larry married shortly after graduating high school on July 3, 1965. After Larry got drafted into the Army and went to serve in Vietnam, Lana lived in Savannah, GA for a year without him. Once Larry was released from the Army, the couple moved back to Bethany where they both worked for Western Electric until she was ready to deliver her son, Chad, in 1972.

Lana became a full-time homemaker and in 1975 her daughter Kelly was born. When her children were still living at home, Lana enjoyed playing cards, dominoes, board games, crocheting, cooking and baking, and crossword puzzles. She was always an avid reader.

Lana was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Larry; and sister, Vickie Collier. She is survived by her sister, Sandra Ragan and husband Don; son, Chad Bradley and wife Rosalinda; daughter, Kelly Witten; grandchildren, Quinn Bradley, Nadine George and husband Isaiah, Madeline Blomgren and husband Charlie, Paxton Bradley, Lena Bradley, Tessa Bradley, Vivianna Bradley, Shea Witten, Rylin Witten, Jack Witten, Linc Witten, Trey Witten, Reese Witten and Dalton Witten; and great-granddaughters, Emilia George and Diana George.

Lana was a member of Kelham Baptist Church for the past 33 years. She had a deep love for Jesus, and her greatest wish was that all of her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren would also accept Jesus as their Savior so that all of her family would be reunited together in Eternity.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, August 13, 2024, at 1:00pm at Kelham Baptist Church (3400 N Meridian Ave, Oklahoma City, OK 73112). Graveside services will immediately follow the funeral at Rose Hill Burial Park (6001 NW Grand Blvd, Oklahoma City, OK 73118).
