LaMar C. Snyder, 84, died, May 7, 2010, OKC, OK. Born January 5, 1926, to Roy & Anna (Jacoby) Snyder, in Allentown, PA. Graduated Allentown High School & attended Okla. Baptist University. He was a Sgt. in the U.S. Marine Corps during WWII. He married Wanda Jo Northcutt, May 24, 1946, Shawnee, OK. In 1991 he retired from the Okla. Employment Security Comm. He faithfully served his Lord as a member of First Baptist Church Bethany. He is survived by wife Wanda, of OKC; daughter Kathy Wyche, of Bethany, OK; son Bruce Snyder, of Naperville, IL; sisters Joyce Kraft, Betty Scheetz, & Joanne Light, all of Allentown, PA; grandchildren: Christy Alben, Sarah Baker, Tarryn, Trey & Trenton Snyder; great-grandchildren: Abby, Allison, Kaelyn, Ryan other loved ones & a host of friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Curtis Snyder; & loving son, Gary Snyder. Viewing will be Sunday, 2-9 pm, with services, Monday, May 10, 2:00 pm, at First Baptist Church of Bethany. Interment in Resurrection Cemetery.
