Kim Shawn Cook (Kimbo), 42, passed away February 21, 2009 in Oklahoma City. Kim was born October 21, 1966 in Tulsa, OK the son of Judy and Duane Cook. Kim was preceded in death by his mother. Survivors include his loving wife Lisa and daughter Aubrey both of the home; father and step-mother, Duane and Vicki Cook; twin sister Kelli Dean and husband Dave; sisters-in-law Sandra Tam Armstead and husband Bob and Debbie Lazzara; brother-in-law Bobby Booth and wife Jacque. He was uncle to Kaili Dean, Kara Tam Walts and her husband Patrick, Kendra Tam, Daniel Lazzara and fiance April, Connor, Laura and Angelo Lazzara, Taylor Booth, MaeKenzie and Michelle Peterson. He was son-in-law to Joan Booth. Kim was a long time racing enthusiast and competitor at the State Fair Speedway. He was the 1998 Factory Stock Champion #91. Those that knew him will say that he was always willing to lend a hand to a friend or stranger in need. Kim was a loved husband, father, son, brother and friend. He leaves behind so many special lifetime friends. He touched so many lives that there will be a void left in many peoples hearts. We love you Kim. Visitation will be from 9:00 A.M. to 9:00 P.M, Tuesday with the family receiving friends from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. at Mercer-Adams, 3925 N. Asbury, Bethany. A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 P.M., Wednesday, February 25, 2009 at Mercer-Adams Chapel.
