Kenneth Edward Lashbaugh, 58, died November 6, 2009 in Oklahoma City. He was born July 24, 1951 in Portland, Oregon to Charles Edgar and Ella Jean (Carlson) Lashbaugh. After high school, Ken went on a 2 year mission to Germany for his church followed by 2 years of college. He met and married Kathy Jean Todd in 1988 while living in Portland, Oregon. He started K&K Janitorial Services which they operated for 10 years after moving to Oklahoma City. Ken went to work for Wal-Mart in the warehouse and was also a gaming employee in the Lucky Circle Club at Remington Park Casino. He was going to school to earn a degree in acupuncture. When able, he worked part-time in food concessions at the Oklahoma City Zoo. Ken was preceded in death by his father, Charles Edgar Lashbaugh. Surviving him are his wife, Kathy Jean Lashbaugh; 2 daughters, Brenna and Kerri Lashbaugh of Portland, Oregon; mother, Ella Jean Lashbaugh; sisters, Suzie Washburn, and Janie Conklin and husband John, all of Portland, Oregon; and numerous nieces and nephews. Memorial services will be Friday, November 13, 2:00 p.m. at Mercer-Adams Chapel, Bethany. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Judes Childrens Hospital.
