Kenneth Eugene Coker, 82, died August 22, 2012. He was born Nov. 30, 1929 in Sunset, AR to James Henry Coker and Lois McCracken Coker. He was a proud veteran of the US Navy. He graduated from Bethany-Peniel College and entered the ministry doing mission work and starting churches. He served as a missionary in Guatemala, El Salvador and Costa Rica. He also worked in an orphanage with the Navajo Indians and directed the Hispanic American Mission in OKC for 30 years. While in business school, he met and married Elizabeth Ann Mitchell. They shared 61 years together. Kenneth was preceded in death by his parents, 3 siblings, and a daughter, Nancy. He is survived by his wife, Elizabeth; sons, Daniel Coker and wife Mary, Kenneth Coker; daughter, LyNan Redman and husband Dale; 7 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. Services will be Saturday, August 25, 2:00pm at Calvary Bible Fellowship, 6606 N.W. 16th, with interment in Heritage Burial Park in South Lakes.
