Kelby Preston Thompson, 65, died December 26, 2019 in Oklahoma City. He was born June 30, 1954 in Ada, OK to Bobby P. and Norma (Crooks) Thompson. He was a Recruiter with TMC Transportation. On Oct. 3, 1998, he married Ann Kelly in Duluth, Georgia. Kelby was a huge OU fan and also enjoyed playing golf. Family was very important to him, especially spending time with his grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents. Survivors include his wife, Ann; daughter, Tayla Harris and husband Ryan of Edmond, OK; son, Corby Thompson and wife Sarah of Oklahoma City; brother, Todd Lester and wife Tammy of Sulphur, Oklahoma; and sister, Julie Lester; grandchildren, Hudson Harris and Hendrix Harris, Oliver Thompson, Isla Thompson, Charlie Thompson, and Teddy Thompson. Viewing with the family present will be Monday, 6-8pm at Mercer-Adams. Funeral services will be Tuesday, December 31, 10:00am at NorthChurch, 1601 W. Memorial Rd. Graveside services will follow at 2:00pm in the Swan Hill Cemetery, Ada, OK.
