Kathryn Jenise Treece, known as "Jeni," passed away on October 23, 2018 at the age of 40. She will always be remembered as a wonderful daughter, loving mom, super sister, fun aunt, and compassionate soul who loved and spoiled her family and friends.Jeni was born in Oklahoma City on November 18, 1977 to parents Don Treece and Karen DeLong. She was welcomed home by her brother, John, and sister, Juli. She grew up in Bethany, Oklahoma and graduated from Bethany High School in 1996. In 1999, Jeni became a mom -- the title she cherished the most in her life -- and always smiled from ear to ear when she talked about her son Camron. She was an amazing chef who enjoyed creating meals for family and friends. She took great pleasure in spoiling her nephews and their kids with lavish spa days and shopping sprees. She was all about creating an atmosphere of happiness, making memories, listening, and giving selflessly to people she loved. Jeni is survived by her mother, Karen DeLong; father, Don Treece; stepmother, Vickie Treece; brothers, John August and James Chiles; sisters, Julia August and Donna Everett; son, Camron; four nephews, Christopher, Josh, Isaiah and Gavin; great-nephews, Ayden and Christopher; and great-niece, Klaryssa. She will also be remembered by her aunts and uncles, cousins, and lifelong friends. Viewing will be Monday, noon-9pm, with family present from 5-7pm at Mercer-Adams. A celebration of Jenis life will be Tuesday, October 30, 2:00pm at Mercer-Adams Chapel with interment Kansas Cemetery, Piedmont, OK.
