Katherine Marjorie Pope was called home to the Lord on January 11, 2013. She was born May 2, 1929 in Cushing, OK, the daughter of Arthur and Elsie Schnack. She grew up in Cushing and moved to Tulsa, OK after graduating from Cushing High School. She married Joseph E. "Joe" Peters in 1956 and settled in Richardson, TX in 1963 where she raised three children. In 1982 she married William A. "Bill" Pope and moved to the Oklahoma City area, where she lived the remainder of her life. She was preceded in death by her husband Bill Pope in 2007. She is survived by her daughter Karen Harris; sons Wesley Peters and David Peters; stepdaughter Carol Pope; brothers Paul Schnack and Harold Schnack; sister Arlene Schnack; seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Visitation is Monday Jan. 14 from 9:00 am-9:00 pm at Mercer-Adams Funeral Home in Bethany. The funeral service will be held at the Lutheran Church of Our Savior in Bethany on Tuesday, Jan. 15 at 11:00 am. Interment will be in the Lutheran Cemetery, Cushing, OK.
