Katherine "Katy" Mae Hyde was born March 31, 1917 in Lincoln, Arkansas. She was a wiring supervisor at Western Electric and was a member of Bethany First Church of the Nazarene for thirty-three years. Katy was preceded in death by her parents, husbands, Merriman Brittenham and Robert E. Hyde and son, Michael Brittenham. She is survived by daughters, Marilyn Whitlock and Joyce Coley; five grandchildren; four great grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren. Viewing will be Tuesday and Wednesday at Mercer-Adams with family present from 5-7pm on Wednesday. Service will be held Thursday, February 20, 2014 at 2:00pm at Mercer-Adams Chapel, 3925 N.
