Katherine King Holzheuser was born on August 17, 1951 in Kansas City, Kansas to Nicolas and Shirley King and departed this life on July 29, 2025 at the age of 73 at her daughter's home in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

She grew up in Kansas as the eldest of 8 children. On June 21, 1969, she married Michael Carl Oliver and moved to Walters, Oklahoma with their two children, Michael and Heather.

Katherine received a Bachelor's Degree in Linguistics from Cameron University in 1993 just after her husband's passing. She married Dale Ray Holzheuser on March 17, 1994 and lived in Lawton where she began teaching at Tomlinson Junior High School. Later, she got her Master's degree in English as a Second Language and taught at Northwest Classen High School in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. She loved and was loved by her students. She kept in touch with her students and family members and was a gifted teacher.

Katherine was preceded in death by her parents; and her first husband, Michael Oliver. She is survived by her husband, Dale Holzheuser; son, Michael Lee Oliver; daughter, Heather Renee Williams; and siblings, Nick II, Dana, Kris, Kelly, Dawn, Tracey and Stacey. She will be greatly missed.

Memorial Services will be held at 2:00pm on Saturday, August 2, 2025 at Mercer-Adams Funeral Service Chapel with Nathan Williams officiating. Katherine's footstone will be placed in Walters Cemetery in Walters, Oklahoma.
