Karl David Holstein, 68, died December 6, 2012. He was born November 23, 1944 in St. Petersburg, FL to Karl and Virginia (Judah) Holstein. He was a graduate of Ponca Military Academy. He retired from Tinker in 1999 after 31 years as a machinist. Even after retirement, he enjoyed working and loved waving the truckers into the weighing station at Producers Co-op Oil Mill. A loyal friend of Bill W. for 35 years, Karl was a motorcycle enthusiast, Nascar fan, and enjoyed attending car shows and playing the guitar. He loved lifting people's spirits and sent many email jokes. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Roberta Holstein; daughter, Jennifer Holstein; and his cat, Tom Holstein. He is survived by his daughter, Leigh Cassar; son, Karl C. Holstein; stepchildren, David and Becky; uncle, Gene Judah; 7 grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild; and his beloved "Chicken Little." Memorial services will be Monday, December 10, 2:00pm at Mercer-Adams Chapel.
