Karen (Kinzy) Palumbo, 67, passed away on September 27, 2024, in Oklahoma City, OK. She was born October 6, 1956, to Cleveland Draper Kinzy and Junavon (Rhodes) Kinzy, in Oklahoma City. She married Dominic Christopher Palumbo, and they enjoyed 49 years together.

Karen attended college later in life and earned her Associates Degree from OSU-OKC and her Bachelor's and Master's Degree at University of Central Oklahoma in Adult Education, which included breastfeeding education and childbirth education. She taught prenatal classes since 1988, including sibling preparation, prepared childbirth, baby care, and breastfeeding education. In July of 2009, she became an Approved Birth Doula Trainer by Dona International.

Karen was preceded in death by her father, Cleveland Draper Kinzy and mother, Junavon Kinzy. She is survived by her husband, Dominic Christopher Palumbo; sons, Kinzy Joseph Michael Palumbo, Ryan Geoffrey Palumbo and his wife April Palumbo, and Nathan Kyle Palumbo and his wife Darcy Palumbo; and two grandchildren, Cody Bryan Michael Palumbo and Gianna Palumbo.

Memorial Services will be held on Saturday, October 26, 4:00 p.m. at Mercer-Adams Chapel, 3925 N. Asbury Avenue, Bethany, OK.
