Judith "Judi" Kay Jeffers Petty, beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother passed from this life September 15, 2016, at the age of 73, after a short battle with cancer. Born September 25, 1942 in Norman, Oklahoma to Xenia May and James Wilbur Jeffers. Her family moved to North Platt, Nebraska and then to Aurora, Colorado where she graduated from High School. She attended Abilene Christian College where she met and married Gene Corner in 1961 and raised three daughters Debbie, Angie, and Gena. Judi was also grandmother to twelve grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. She worked many years for TG&Y and then worked as a Customer Service Representative for Liberty Mutual Insurance until retirement. In 1994, she married Bill, becoming stepmother to Kandi and Randy. A long-time resident of Warr Acres, she will be missed by her neighbors along with many friends at the Cherokee Hills Church of Christ, where she worshipped for more than 40 years. Judi was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Bill, and her younger sister Jeannie. She is survived by her three daughters, Debbie and her husband John Anders of Stillwater, Angie and her husband Richard Dodgen of Edmond, and Gena and her husband Brett Wools of Frisco, TX, her step-children Kandi and husband Keith Evans of Edmond and Randy and wife Carolisa Petty of Yukon, brother Jack and wife Lore Jeffers of Raleigh NC and her sister Kathleen and husband Bobby McClendon of Fort Worth, TX, her grandchildren Dillon and wife Hilary Anders, Meagan Anders, Madison Anders, Kailee Pierce, Audrey Dodgen, Jacob Dodgen, Ashley Wools, Jordyn Wools, Jessica and her husband Paul Fesler, Becky and her husband Michael Oglesby, Melanie Evans and Austin Petty, and great-grandchildren Brynley & Hadley Anders and Eli Fesler. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
