Juanita Fern Kelley, faithful mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, entered this world on May 2, 1925, in Healdton, OK. She was the fourth of 10 children born to the Rev. James W. and Fannie Mae Cross. She went to be with her Lord Jesus Christ on March 29, 2011. Juanita married Enex Daniel Ray in January, 1942 in Quanah, TX. To that union was born 1 son, Danny K., and 2 daughters, Mary Fern and Beverly Gail. Following Enexs death in 1962, she married I. Murvin Kelley on July 4, 1965. Juanita was preceded in death by her parents, both husbands, 4 brothers, 2 sisters, and her son, Danny K. Ray. She is survived by her 2 daughters, Mary Fern Hedges and husband, Mark, and Beverly Smith and husband, Roger of Bethany, OK; daughter-in-law, Sheila Ray of Noble, OK; step-children, Tim Kelly and wife, Lois of Pollock, ID, and Francine Carson and husband, Chris of Tumwater, WA; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren; 3 sisters: Loweta Chesser, Altus, OK; Tena Nance and husband, Bob, Geary, OK, and Shirley G. Spencer and husband, Dewayne of OKC; a great number of nieces, nephews, and a host of friends. The family will greet guests for a formal viewing on Friday, April 1, from 6-8pm at Mercer-Adams Funeral Home, Bethany, OK. A memorial service to celebrate her life and legacy will be held Saturday, April 2, 1:00pm at Eagle Crest Fellowship, where she was a member for at least 10 years. Interment will follow in Bethany Cemetery.
