Juanita Patton Attebury was born February 23, 1938. Her parents were William Gordon and Edith Irene Ackors, who are deceased. She had three sisters and one brother: Margaret Jo Biddle, deceased; Bill and Phyllis Ackors and his twin, Wanda Seymore; and the youngest, Teresa and John Thompson. Juanita had two sons: James Wesley Patton of Edmond, OK and William Jay Patton of Oklahoma City, OK. She had four grandchildren: Angela, Christopher, Tyler, and Carson, the children of proud parents, Jim and Brenda Patton. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews and a host of friends.
Juanita was married to James W. Patton of Nashville, TN on March 17, 1959. James passed away after 13 years of illness on October 16, 1983. She married Randle Hurst on April 24, 1993. Randle passed away after a minor surgery on February 23, 2003. She then married Everett Attebury in December, 2004 and divorced 5 years later. With Gods intervention, strength, mercy, and forgiveness, Juanita and Everett were able to forgive each other which was a miracle from God. They have spent many years helping each other, enjoying eating out, watching ball games, playing rummikub, and thrift store shopping. Everett was her dearest friend.
Private graveside services will be held Saturday, May 2 in Memorial Park Cemetery.
