Joyce Thompson, 87, died March 15, 2012. She was born Feb. 14, 1925, the youngest of 12 children, to Thomas and Nora (Jackson) Cobb in Apache, OK. She was a bookkeeper for over 40 years and a longtime member of Baptist Temple, where she was actively involved. She spent many years in WMU, bible school, the sewing room, cooking and loved ministering to and helping others. Preceded in death by her parents, and husband of 51 years, Harold "Tommy" Thompson, she is survived by her sons, Rob Thompson and Kris Evans, Don Thompson and wife Carol; brother, Alvin Cobb and wife Nancy; 9 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. Viewing will be Sunday from 1-9pm at Mercer-Adams, 3925 N. Asbury, Bethany, OK. Funeral service will be Monday, March 19, 10:00am at Baptist Temple with interment in Resurrection Cemetery.
