Joyce Marie Franklin was born April 15, 1940, to Ben and Ruth Brickey Alstatt. She passed away March 16, 2026, at the age of 85.

Joyce worked in a nursing home, as a short-order cook in a restaurant, and also as a laundry manager. She enjoyed cooking, crocheting, painting, ceramics, playing cards and attending her church in Tecumseh, OK.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Jack; and eight siblings.

She is survived by her children, Jack Richardson, Dwayne Austin, Linda Marsee, Paula Bonilla and Ben Franklin; siblings, Ben, Frank, Pat, Barbara, Virgie, Diane and David; eleven grandchildren; and a number of great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

Viewing at Mercer-Adams Funeral Service is Tuesday, 9am-8pm with family present from 5-7pm. Funeral services will be Wednesday, March 25 at 11:00am at Mercer-Adams Chapel.
