Joy Ann Farley, age 87, died Sunday, January 23, 2022. The world lost a beloved wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was born in Shawnee, Oklahoma to Andy and Mable OBright. She graduated from St. Benedict High School in the year of 1954. On May 14, 1958, Joy married the love of her life, Edwin E. Farley. They were married for 63 years and had one daughter, Debera Ann. Joy received her beauty college degree from Warr Acres Beauty College in the year of 1966. She opened her own beauty shop in 1966 and retired in 1977. Her hobbies were decorating her home and working with flowers in her yard. Joys family was her life. She loved and was so proud of her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She would always say she had the best daughter a mom could ask for. Joy was preceded in death by her parents, four sisters and one brother. She is survived by her husband, Eddie; daughter, Debbie and husband Craig; granddaughter, Heather and husband David; grandson, Heath and wife Liz; six great-grandchildren, Kooper, Avery, Asher, Addie Ann, Madison, Swayze, and Holt (who is due to arrive the first of March); and many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be Saturday, January 29 from 11:00am-1:00pm at Mercer-Adams with burial in Calvary Cemetery in Shawnee, Oklahoma at 3:00pm. Casual dress. .
