Joshua Taylor Grigsby was born on April 30, 1992, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma to Jerry and Tanya Grigsby. He departed this life for his heavenly home on October 5, 2010, at age 18. Josh graduated from Mustang High School in May 2010 and was a student at Redlands College in El Reno, OK. His ambition and goal was to become an agriculture teacher. As part of that plan, he raised show hogs during his high school years. He was employed at Homeland Grocery Store in Mustang for 2 years. Josh was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Bobby and Imogene Grigsby of Warr Acres, OK. He is survived by his parents, Jerry Grigsby and Karen Foree of the home, Mustang, and Tanya Grigsby of OKC; one sister, Hannah Grigsby (11); his maternal grandparents, Dewayne and Shirley Spencer of OKC; god-parents Steve and Mary Wiebusch; two uncles, Bobby Grigsby and his wife Brenda of OKC and Donnie Grigsby and his wife Edde of Newcastle; three aunts, Brenda Hayes and her husband Earl, and Terry and Jeni Grigsby of Warr Acres; several cousins; his girlfriend, Alison Orendac, and her parents Steve and Paula Orendac; his best friend, Brent Bovers; and numerous other friends and relatives who cherish his memory. Josh had a passion for outdoor activities like hunting, fishing, and practicing team roping. He enjoyed hanging out with his friends and was known for his winning smile and big bear hugs. Memorials may be made to Mustang High School FFA. Services will be held on Friday, October 8, 2:00pm at River of Life Church, 6901 N.W 150th St., OKC, with interment in Mustang Cemetery.
