Jo was born to John W. and Beulah Beatrice (Lassiter) Agnew on May 9, 1926, in Oklahoma City. She was a retired registered nurse, but she will mainly be remembered as a loving and kind, wife, mother, sister, aunt, Granny, and Jo Jo, and friend. Her legacy of family and friends will keep her memory alive for many generations. She had eight grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren. Jo graduated from Capitol Hill High School and went into nurses training in Wesley Hospital as a cadet near the end of WWII. After raising her children Jo went back to work as a registered nurse, retiring from Presbyterian Hospital in Oklahoma City. Jo loved to garden with Jay, spend time with her family, and read, especially the Bible. She was a Southern Baptist, and has now entered the throne room of her Lord, singing His praises with the other saints.
