Johnnie Alexander Siler Feb. 12, 1941- March 16, 2018 Bethany, OK Johnnie, 77, husband of Sandra Siler, went to be with the Lord on March 16, 2018 after a prolonged illness. He was born in El Reno, Oklahoma on February 12, 1941, the son of the late Melvin and Betty Siler. Johnnie attended El Reno High School. He proudly served in the US Army Airborne 1961-1965. Johnnie was a restaurateur, construction company owner, Auxiliary Sheriff, community volunteer, and a supporter of various charities. He was a true American patriot, an avid O.U. football fan, and also a V.F.W and American Legion Member. Johnnie was married to his beloved wife, Sandra "Sandy" for fifty years. He was a member of the Church of Christ in Sardis, MS, where he was also baptized. John was a wonderful man with a big heart who drew people close with humor, compassion and kindness. He is survived by his devoted wife, Sandra; daughter, Cheryl Siler; son, John Siler Jr.; son, Ryan Siler and wife Crystal; grandchildren, Autumn, Coy, Brooke, and Alexis; great-grandchildren, Tyler and Tenley; along with niece's, nephew's, and many dear friends. John Siler was preceded in death by his father, Melvin; mother, Betty; and sisters, Ina Lea and Mary Kay. His services will be held Thursday, March 22nd at 2:00 p.m. at Mercer-Adams Chapel, 3925 N. Asbury, Bethany, OK 73008 (405-495-4363).
