Johnnie P. Ervin was born July 19, 1940 and left this life on June 27, 2023 to be with her Lord and Savior. She leaves behind her loving family: Joe (Karen), Mike (Lisa), J.R. (Sherrie), Shelia, Elvin, Marcia, and Nancy; grandchildren, Julia (Scott), Jake (Jessica), Shelby (Meredith), Cory (Kamry), Brian (Tiffany), Brittany (Jonathan), Alisha (Damarco), Kyle (DeJa), Sara, Kelly (David), Brian (Dusty), J.R. and Lisa; numerous great grandkids; sisters, Oweta and Patsy; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was met at The Heavenly Gates by: parents, James & Monnie; husband, Melvin Ervin; sisters, Peggy, Betty, and Faye; brothers, Butch, LeRoy, Eddie, Frank and Oscar; son-in-law, Terry; sons, Darrell and Melvin, Jr.; and numerous other loved ones. Johnnie lived a full life of love and laughter. Was kind and compassionate to all that she met. She would always have a listening ear no matter when you needed to talk. She adored and LOVED to be around her family. She loved a good joke, and a lot of the time was the "Cause" of the joke. She was the inspiration for her family to accept the Lord and Savior in their lives. Her favorite verse was 1 Cor. 13: 4-8 .
