John Bostwick, 85, died on January 18, 2021, in Yukon, Oklahoma. He was born June 5, 1935, in Guthrie, Oklahoma to John Raymond Bostwick and Adnia Rebecca Bostwick. John served 4 years in the United States Air Force. He married Doris Mathews on June 17, 1960, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. John was retired from AT&T having worked there for 30 years. After Doris, the other love of his life was flying Radio Controlled Aircraft. He was a member of Westside R/C Flyers and enjoyed flying radio- controlled planes for 20 plus years. John was preceded in death by 5 brothers and 3 sisters. He is survived by Doris Bostwick, his wife of 60 years, as well as multiple nieces & nephews and many friends. Viewing will be 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Friday, January 22, 2021 at Mercer-Adams Funeral Home.
