John Yale "J.T." Thompson, 31, died February 29, 2020 in OKC. He was born September 28, 1988 in Hot Springs, AR to Bobby Joe and Mary Nichelle (Bellamy) Thompson. He was a proud veteran of the U.S. Army. He worked as an EMT for EMSA. John enjoyed outdoor activities and living on the edge including riding motorcycles and dirt bikes, airsoft shooting and playing darts. His greatest joy was being a father to Andrew and Maria. John was preceded in death by a sister, Amber Lee McNeely, a niece, Johanna Grace Thompson, and grandmother, Bobbie Jean Thompson. Survivors include his wife, Jessica; his parents, Mary Noyes of OKC and Bobby Joe Thompson of Hot Springs, AR; son, Andrew Danger Thompson; daughter, Maria Isabelle Maldonado; brothers, Joey Thompson and T.J. McNeely, both of Hot Springs, AR; and grandparents, John and Liz Cammack of Heber Springs, AR. Viewing will be Thursday, 9am-9pm with family present 6-8pm at Mercer-Adams. Services will be Friday, March 6, 2:00pm at Mercer-Adams Chapel with interment following in Kansas Cemetery, Piedmont, OK.
