John Joseph Ohler died November 21, 2008. He was born August 11, 1927 to George Ohler and Anna Schmidlin Ohler in Vernonia, Oregon. John was a veteran of WWII. He was a truck driver. He is survived by his wife, Mary (Campbell) daughters, Shirley Stewart, Fairbanks, AK and Barbara Ford, Portland, OR sons, Michael Ohler, Fairbanks, AK and Kenneth Ohler, Portland, OR sisters, Florence Johnson, Portland, OR and Lorraine Hill, Reno, NV 10 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and first wife, Joan McLaughlin. Services for John will be held in Vernonia, OR at a later date under the direction of the Fuiten-Rose Mortuary.
