John T. Brown, 89, died October 12, 2009. He was born March 6, 1920 in Bethany, Oklahoma to Frances and Anna (Woldt) Brown. He was the owner/operator of John T. Browns Department Store. Preceded in death by his parents, he is survived by his wife of 64 years, Rosie; daughter Barbara Wood and her children Porscha Lopez and her husband Adam and Chris Wood and his wife Tina; son Phil and his wife Denise and their children Allison Henrich and her husband Jeff; daughter Dr. Stacy McLeod and her husband Cody; daughter Sheila Brown; great-grandchildren Mason & Gage Johnson, Ayden Lopez, Brittney, Tori, Jacob, Elizabeth & Anna Rose Wood, Blake, Jake & Cade Henrich, Katie & Lena McLeod; sister Anna Mae McCanlies and her 2 sons Victor and Warren and their families; and nephew Neale Brown and his wife Ann. Viewing will be Wednesday. October 14, 9:00 a.m.-9:00 p.m. at Mercer-Adams with the family present from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Services will be Thursday, October 15, 2:00 p.m. at Mercer-Adams Chapel with entombment at Resurrection Cemetery Mausoleum.
