Obituary

John Bradford Baker of Oklahoma City was born in Midwest City on September 1, 1967 and passed away on May 10, 2015. John was preceded in death by his grandparents, Wayne and Georgia Crawford, great grandparents, HC and Mabel Moose, uncle, Paul Crawford, and mother-in-law, Brenda VanCampen Land. John loved to paint and absolutely loved his work at the Oklahoma State Fair Park. He had a passion for Elvis Presley and had an Elvis room at home with memorabilia from his many trips to Graceland. John enjoyed a large variety of music, from classic rock to country. He enjoyed time at the lake and loved fishing and playing basketball with his nephew, Ayden. OU Sooners, Dallas Cowboys, Cleveland Indians and OKC Thunder were a few of his favorite teams. He married his one true love, Kari Land Baker, on September 18, 1999. They enjoyed traveling together, spending times with friends and mudding in his new jeep. John leaves behind his lovely wife of 15 years, Kari; Sam and Suzanne Land, Lori and Ayden Nichols, Noble and Charie Baker, Kylie Baker, Kristi and Benny Foreman; nieces, Lyndsie, Lacie and Jessica; nephew, Taylor; and other extended family and so many special friends that were his brothers and sisters in life. John impacted so many lives and will be greatly missed by all who loved him. Memorial services will be Thursday, May 14 at 10am at Mercer-Adams Funeral Service.
