John Walter Alyea was born Sept. 9, 1941 in Oklahoma City, OK to Harold and Hazel (Elliott) Alyea. He went home to be with the Lord on Dec. 8, 2017. John enjoyed racing go-carts and won several first place trophy's. John and his brother, Richard, enjoyed going out to car shows and the gun and knife shows together. John married Patricia Ann Gentry on Jan. 2, 1978. They were married 39 years. John was preceded in death by his parents, brother, Danny Alyea, paternal and maternal grandparents, a son Adam Gentry and several aunts and uncles. He is survived by his wife, Patricia; son, Brent; daughter, Janet Scott; brother, Richard Alyea; 2 granddaughters, Samantha Scott and Abbigayle Gentry; daughter-in-law, Kim Gentry; and numerous nieces and nephews.
