Jo Ann McBroom, 91, passed away April 3, 2024. She was born on June 25, 1932 to Bill and Beatrice Jennings in Oklahoma City, OK.

Jo Ann was special in many ways. She was wife to Robert McBroom Sr. She loved flowers, plants and being outside in her garden. She also loved to quilt and made many beautiful ones that she displayed in her home.

Jo Ann and Robert were in the antique business for many years and made many friends. Her home was decorated with many antiques. She was also a poet. She loved to write and had books published with them.

Jo Ann did not travel much; she was a homebody most of the time. But if there was an antique auction she was ready to go. She loved her dogs! They kept her company and she treated them like family. She had a lifelong friendship with Martha Hadeik. Even when life was busy, Martha and Jo Ann made a point to always spend their birthdays together.

JoAnn loved decorating her home for the holidays and taking pictures of her grandkids. You could count on her to capture all of our families' important moments.

Jo Ann is survived by her sons, Robert McBroom Jr. and Michael McBroom; daughter-in-law, Clara McBroom; granddaughter, Michelle Simmons; great-grandchildren, Magen Davenport and husband Lane Davenport, Presley and Brady Simmons; and great-great-grandchildren, Griffin, Boston, and Ridge Davenport.
