JoAnn Elizabeth "Jonie" Jones, 87, died January 9, 2023. She was born December 30, 1935 in Haskell, Oklahoma to Jimmy C. and Anita Wheeler. Our mother is an angel from Heaven. She loved the Lord, Daddy, and our family with all her heart. She was the best wife, mother, and Meme to all of us. She touched the lives of many people and will be missed by all. She will forever be in our hearts. Jonie is survived by her husband of 67 years, Jerry Jones; 4 children, Jeff Jones and wife Nancy, of OKC, Jay Jones and wife Tracey of Yukon, Joey Jones and wife Jill of Yukon, Jetta Myers and husband Tony of OKC; 14 grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren.
