Joan Aurelia Masilon, 91, left this earth to be in heaven with Tod, the love of her life, August 28, 2016 in OKC. She was born September 28, 1924 in Pittsburgh, PA to Harry and Hilda Flecker. She married Charles J. "Tod" Masilon on July 2, 1949 in Pittsburgh, PA. Joan loved to play rummy, and watch OU and OSU football with her family. She was a lifelong member of St. Philip Neri Church in Midwest City and was very active in the church. Joan was a lovely person and will be sorely missed by her family and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, son, Jack, and siblings, Ruth, Mercedes, Bill, George, Carl and Jack. Survivors include sons, David and wife Karla of Yukon, OK, Michael and wife Carell of OKC, and Jody of OKC; grandchildren, Matt, Trent, Mackenzie, Geoffrey, and Jaclyn; and sister, Miriam Kist of Pittsburgh, PA. Viewing will be Tuesday, 9am-9pm, with a wake service at 7:00pm at Mercer-Adams Chapel. Mass of Christian burial will be Wednesday, September 7, 11:00am at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church with interment following in Resurrection Memorial Cemetery.
