Obituary

Jimmy Wayne Brown of Oklahoma City went to meet his Savior on the 28th of September, 2008 at the age of 71. He was born September 18, 1937 in Wapanucka, Oklahoma to Jack and Kay (Kistler) Brown. He was a long-time resident of Stillwater and was a member of the Stillwater High School class of 1955. Shortly after graduation he enlisted in the U.S. Air Force (1956-59). In 1969 he became an honorable and decorated member of the U.S. Marine Corps and eventually served as a Corporal in Vietnam. He received many medals for conduct and service as well as for being a Pistol Marksman and Rifle Sharpshooter. It was in the military where he received training for his lifes work with micro-electronics and he went on to own Brown and Bennett Audio Visual Repair in Oklahoma City. He was also a faithful and devoted lover and caregiver to his wife. Preceded in death by his parents, he is survived by his wife of 25 year, Dana K. Brown of the home; brothers, Terry and Tony Brown; son, Wayne Brown and his children Joshua and Amanda; daughter and son-in-law Laura and Mark Stanlake of Yukon, OK; daughter and son-in-law Rebecca and Jeff Davis and their daughters Allison, Lindsey and Madison of Owasso, OK. Those who wish to honor and remember are invited to the family home on Saturday, October 4th at 1:00 p.m.
