Jimmie Lee Cornelius, Jr. 09/30/1965 - 12/15/2018 This world has lost a very special person. "Big Jim" was simply a friend to everyone he met. He had a passion for helping others, especially strangers. His generous, giving heart will be missed, but hes now with his Savior, loving father, wonderful grandparents and friends who passed before him. There is a really good chance he is in heaven laughing, telling jokes, fixing things that need repairs, finding ways to resolve conflict, and throwing darts and singing karaoke with friends. He was a proud member of the 1981 Putnam City West state champion football team, loved motorcycles and the outdoors. He maintained a strong work ethic in dedicated service to both Great Plains Coca Cola and as a manager with OReilly Auto Parts. He loved his family and had a special place in his heart for his niece and nephews. Visitation will be Monday, December 17, at Mercer-Adams Funeral Service, 3925 N Asbury Avenue, in Bethany. Services will be held Tuesday, December 18, 10 a.m., at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church, 5000 N Grove in Warr Acres, and he will rest in peace at Resthaven Memory Gardens, 500 SW 104th Street.
