Jerry Edward Wiggs was born February 26, 1938 in OKC. He was the second of two sons of Wallace and Maybelle Wiggs. Jerry attended Classen HS and earned his GED before serving in the Air Force. In high school, Jerry met his future wife, Sharon Des Moore. They were married in 1957, had two children and made their home in OKC for most of the next 60 years. Jerry was a residential painter and very involved in raising their two children. Jerry passed away April 29 at the age of 80. He was preceded in death by his parents, older brother and his wife. He is survived by his two children and their spouses, five grandchildren and many great-grandchildren. Viewing will be Friday, 9am-9pm at Mercer-Adams. A graveside service will be Saturday, May 5, 2:00pm at Resurrection Cemetery. Prior to the graveside service will be a procession from Mercer-Adams leaving at 1:30pm.
