Jerry Wayne Plumbtree, Sr., 68, went home to be with his Father on Friday, October 30, 2015. He was born March 6, 1947 to Russell and Aleene Plumbtree. Jerry proudly served in the United States Army First Infantry Division from 1966-1968 where he fought in Vietnam. After returning home from the war, he married Brenda Dunn and they had four children: Joshua, Jerry, Casaundra, and Rachael. They resided in Oklahoma until they moved to California and Oregon, and later returned to Oklahoma in 1983. He and Brenda divorced in 1987 and he later married Sybil Couture in 1990. They had three children: Derrick, Lynn, and Danielle. Jerry was proud of and loved his children, family, and country. He spent most of his career in retail managing T.G.&Y., Family Dollar, as well as others. Jerry was preceded in death by his father, Russell Plumbtree and daughter, Danielle. He is survived by his mother, Aleene Plumbtree; sons, Joshua, Jerry, Derrick, and Lynn; daughters, Casaundra and Rachael; as well as his sister, Carolyn and brother, Russell (Rusty). Services will be at Mercer Adams Chapel on Wednesday, November 4, 2015 at 2:00 PM with Kevin Thornton officiating.
