Jerry Lee Meissinger, 83, died December 5, 2014 in Oklahoma City. He was born January 31, 1931, in Loyal, Oklahoma to John and Olinda Meissinger. Jerry worked at Liquid Carbonic and Western Paper Company, in addition to running the family farm his entire adult life. He was a member of the Central Seventh-Day Adventist Church for 62 years. He was also an avid OU football and Thunder basketball fan. Jerry was preceded in death by his parents, his daughter, Sherry Hawkins and sister, Lillian Halverson. He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Wanda Meissinger; son Jerry Meissinger, Moore, OK; son Terry Meissinger and wife Marci, Edmond, OK; daughter Sue Haworth, Acworth, GA; 9 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren. Visitation will be Monday, December 8, 2014, 9am - 9pm, at Mercer Adams Funeral Service. Services will be held Tuesday, December 9, 2014 at 11:00am at Mercer Adams Chapel.
