Jerry Duane Combs, 67, of Yukon, OK, died June 8, 2010. He was born April 9, 1943 to Dude Combs and Adelaide (Fuller) Combs. A high school graduate of Elmore City, OK, he received his BS from the University of Central OK. He lived in the OKC area for 45 years and was a member of Victory Church. Jerry married Meda Morton July 17, 1964. He retired after 41 years at Lucent Technologies. He loved all sports but was passionate for OU. He enjoyed spending time with family, friends and vacations. He was preceded in death by his parents, and sons Steven and Sidney Combs. He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Meda; daughter Sonya Walker and husband Mark of The Colony, TX; son Stan Combs and wife Michelle of Yukon; daughter Shelby Combs of Yukon; brother Lonnie Combs of Bedford, TX; brothers/sisters-in law Eric Morton and Roxana, Doyle and Catherine McEntire; aunt Sue Brown; many nieces and nephews; and a host of family and friends. The family will receive guests Thursday, 6-8pm at Mercer-Adams. Funeral services will be Fri., June 11, 2:00pm at Mercer-Adams Chapel with interment at 5:00pm in Maysville Memorial Cemetery, Maysville, OK. Flowers may be sent to Mercer-Adams, 3925 N.
