Jeffrey Dean Bridgwater was born October 8, 1959 in Oklahoma City to Don and Vivian Bridgwater. Jeff went to be with our Lord, Saturday, September 28 at the family's Oklahoma City home. Jeff grew up in various cities in Oklahoma, Texas and Kansas, graduating from Cimarron Kansas High School in 1977. Jeff married his high school sweetheart, Margaret Schartz, on April 9, 1983. He graduated in December, 1981, from Kansas State University. Following a brief career in mechanical engineering, Jeff began a successful IT career in the oil and gas industry and is currently employed with Access Midstream in Oklahoma City. Jeff is survived by wife, Margaret; 3 adult children including twin daughters, Lindsay and Mackenzie and son, Paul, all of Oklahoma City; sister, Shelly Glass and husband Don; half-brother, Johnson Bridgwater of OKC; step sister, Kelly Bridgwater of Georgia; and many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. Jeff was preceded in death by both parents. Services are being handled by Mercer-Adams, 3925 N. Asbury, Bethany with viewings on Tuesday, Oct. 1 and with family members on Wednesday, Oct. 2, 6-8pm. Funeral service is scheduled for Thursday, October 3, 2:00pm at Lake View Park Nazarene Church, 3500 N.W. 50th St, OKC, with interment in Bethany Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to Lake View Park NMI-Compassionate Ministries.
