Jeanette Marie Alexander, age 95, passed from this life on December 21, 2019. Born Jeanette Marie Cavaliere on October 31, 1924, in Salida, Colorado, to the late John Arthur and Lucy Ida Cavaliere. Jeanette was preceded in death by her husband of 72 years, Dennis Alexander; her parents; and one brother, Carmen Cavaliere. She is survived by her brother, William Noli and wife Nancy; sister, Rosalie Hofman; daughter, Sherrie Lee Russell; grandchildren, Terry Miller and his wife Ladeana, Jenny Martin and her husband James K., Amber Jarvis and her husband Jeff; great-grandchildren, Brandon Miller, Nicole Jarvis, Bryton Cunningham, Parker Jarvis, and Samuel Miller. She met the love of her life at a USO dance in San Francisco, California. After a two-week courtship, they were married, and he shipped out the following week. They were happily married for 72 years. A loving wife, mother, and grandmother, "Nana" was kind to all and had a heart to serve her family. She retired from Macklanburg Duncan where she worked as a machinist. Viewing will be Thursday, 9am-9pm, with family present from 5-7pm at Mercer-Adams. Graveside service will be Friday, December 27, 11:00am at Memorial Park Cemetery.
