Obituary

Jean Cooper Wilson, of Yukon, OK peacefully went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on March 29, 2013. Jean was born in Attica, KS on November 21, 1936. She was happily married to Curtis Cooper on December 10, 1955 in Wichita, KS. Curtis and Jean had 4 children. After 44 years of marriage, Jean was preceded in death by her husband, Curtis, on September 30, 2000. Eleven years later, God blessed her with a loving husband, Loyd Wilson. They were united in marriage on September 3, 2011. Jean and Loyd enjoyed traveling, visiting relatives, friends, and seeing new places. She was a member of Christ's Legacy Church in Oklahoma City, OK. She was also preceded in death by daughter, Marlene Cooper-Huey and son, Steve Cooper. Jean is survived by her husband, Loyd Wilson of Yukon, OK; daughter, Deb Van Boskirk (husband Bob) of Fort Collins, CO; son, Lynn Cooper (wife Pam) of Lincoln, NE; and grandchildren, Melissa Thompson, Bret Van Boskirk (wife Bethany), and Cale and Bryce Cooper. She is survived by sister, Marge Spikes and brother, Chester Kloefkorn (wife Melva Lou); Loyd's children, JoLeta Nash (husband Robert) of Oklahoma City, OK, Del Wilson (wife Cathy) of Naperville, IL; and grandchildren, Natalie and Tim Nash, Emily, Grant, and Olivia Wilson. Jean is also survived by a host of dear relatives and friends. A memorial visitation will be held on Sunday, March 31st from 6 to 8pm at Mercer-Adams Funeral Home in Bethany. The family invites you to a celebration of Jean's life on Monday, April 1, 2013 at 3:00pm at Christ's Legacy Church.
