Jay Patrick Jacobs, 69 of Bethany, died March 17, 2010. He was born Nov 21, 1940 in Baltimore, MD to Jay and Nalora (Mann) Jacobs. He married Phyllis Ann Cline, Dec. 4, 1970. He retired as a Loan Processor from Midland Mortgage. He enjoyed woodworking, and was a black belt in karate, instructing for many years. He also studied reflexology and became proficient in it. Preceded in death by his mother, he is survived by his father Jay R. Jacobs; wife Phyllis; son Jay Brandon Jacobs; daughter Holly Kay Walker and husband Shane; and 2 grandchildren Hailey Jacobs and Dillon Walker. Funeral services will be Monday, March 22, 10:00am at Mercer-Adams Chapel with interment in Chapel Hill.
