Jason Wayne
Taylor
Nov 14, 1986 — Jun 7, 2024
Jason Wayne Taylor, 37, departed this earth on Friday morning June 7, 2024 in Oklahoma City, OK. He was born November 14, 1986 to Wayne and Nancy (Lancaster) Taylor in OKC. Jason was homeschooled and graduated in 2005. He married Teresa Taylor on May 27, 2017 in Bethany, OK. Jason was a long-time employee of Taylor Foam, Inc. in OKC and was a current employee of Carpenter as a salesman in their EPS division.
Jason loved his sales job and traveling. He was an avid OU fan and loved cheering them on in anything they played, especially cheering hard when they played against OSU! He was a devout family man and loved spending time with his family, especially his 3 kids. Jason loved cars, especially Mustangs. His Roush named "Sonic the Hedgehog" even had its own Instagram page. Jason had won several trophies with "Sonic" at a few different car shows! He enjoyed going to Coffee & Cars and showing off his ride. He traveled all over the state on rides and attending events with the Mustang Club.
Jason was passionate about food and cooking. He loved to try new things and new recipes. Because of that, he was very active and involved in the FGC (Fat Guy Club). It is a Facebook group of men that share a common passion and love for food. He would post pictures almost daily on the FGC page showing his next meal whether it was at home or while traveling for work! Often times he would post both his lunch and dinner. Jason and his brother Bryan along with Chris Bourne, Ron Burchett and Tony Sword competed in the FGC BBQ cookoff several years and won quite a few trophies to include Grand Champion and the People's Choice one year.
Jason loved big and was full of life. He always had a smile on his face and was loved by nearly everyone who met him. He was always laughing and causing others to laugh. He lit up every room he was in. Humor was his outlet, and that contagious laughter will be sorely missed by all who knew him. Jason was always there to lend a helping hand. Whether it was a neighbor or friend, he was always available and willing to help anyone around him that needed it, no matter the task at hand.
Jason Taylor was preceded in death by both sets of grandparents; his father, Wayne Taylor; and a son, Gavin. He is survived by his mother, Nancy Taylor of OKC; his wife, Teresa Taylor of the home; his son, Mason Taylor; daughters, Mallory Taylor and Adaleigh Taylor; his brother, Bryan Taylor (Lori) of Bethany; two aunts; and an uncle, along with numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. He will be greatly missed by all.
