Janice Hays Downs, 76, of Bethany, passed away peacefully December 19, 2015. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Darrell Downs and her parents, Bood and Ruby Hays. She is survived by her two daughters, Shelly Kay Reutter (Bobby) of Quitman, AR and Sheryl L. Fink of Apple Valley, MN; step-son, Glenn Downs of Oklahoma City; two sisters, Donetta Brown-Posey (Jim) and Sharon Witt (Jeff), all of Piedmont, OK; grandchildren, Chelsea Emery (Mark), Scott Smith (Kalynn), Richard G. Arellano, Jr., Rachel Gabrielle Arellano, Peyton Vinyard; great-grandson, Cooper Smith; and many loving nieces and nephews. The family would like to thank her trusted and loving caregiver, Jerry. She will always be remembered for her gentle eyes, shy sweet smile and her soft loving touch. Heaven now has a new angel with the brightest of Halos.
