In loving memory of our mother, Janey Dennehy, who passed away on December 12, 2023
Janey Dennehy was the devoted wife of Jim Dennehy and loving mother of Jimmy, Mike, and Sally. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
Janey was born on May 19, 1938, to Grady and Velma Potts of Oklahoma City, OK. She graduated from Northeast High School of Oklahoma City and earned an associate degree in Secretarial Science from the University of Oklahoma.
Janey met Jim Dennehy on a blind date, and six months later they were married on April 13, 1961. Their marriage of 52 years was filled with love, happiness, and compassion that will never be forgotten by their children.
Janey's dream was to be a great mother and she was a fantastic mother. She always instilled how important it was for her children to be close and support each other. She can rest in heaven knowing that the bond of her children has been and always will be engraved on their soul. Her love and guidance will continue to shape their lives, a testament to the enduring impact of a mother's unconditional love.
Janey was truly one of a kind, fondly known as "Grammer" to her three beloved grandchildren, Katie, Cooper, and Denny. She cherished every moment spent with them, creating memories filled with love, laughter, and the joy that only grandchildren can bring.
