James P. Warnock, Jr., 69, died at home on October 24, 2011. Jim was born June 30, 1942 in Natchitoches, LA to James P. Warnock, Sr. and wife Katherine. He worked in railroading over forty years; 30 years with Burlington Northern Railroad out of Enid, OK and Wichita Falls, TX and ten years with the Federal Railroad Administration headquartered out of Wichita, KS. He served in the United States Army from 1959 to 1962. Jim was an avid gardener and enjoyed sports and collecting railroad memorabilia. He is survived by his wife, Mary of Piedmont, OK; three children: daughter, Michelle Baldwin and husband Bryan of Enid, OK and two grandchildren, Cheyene and Autumn; a son, James Warnock and wife Paula of Wichita Falls, TX, a step grandson, Kaleb Cummings and step granddaughter, Emily Burlison; daughter, Jaquita Warnock of Wichita Falls, TX; two step daughters, Brenda Haase and husband Greg of Salina, KS and three step grandchildren, Lauryn and Court Simas, Kelsey and Morgan; Kim Nelson of Plano, TX and three step grandchildren, Abigail, Lydia and Sarah. Jim was an active member and deacon of the First Christian Church of Yukon, OK. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the benevolence fund at the First Christian Church. Services will be Friday, October 28, 10:00 a.m. at the First Christian Church, Yukon, OK. Burial will be at 1:00 p.m. at Fort Sill National Cemetery, Elgin, OK.
